This is a fantastic opportunity for an energetic, conscientious and motivated person to join our team as a Trainee CCTV Service Engineer, learning to perform maintenance as well as repair of faults to CCTV and Access Control systems.
Richards CCTV is a leading CCTV family-run company with over 30 years of experience in the industry. We are based in the West Midlands and specialise in market-leading CCTV equipment across the UK for various clients.
We focus purely on CCTV and Access Control Installations, Service and Maintenance with qualified and experienced specialist Engineers.
To succeed in this role, you will be able to integrate yourself into the team. You must be willing to share duties and work confidently independently or as part of a team. You must also be a confident driver happy to drive long distances and comfortable working in all weathers.
As well as your interest in technology and practical mind, you will bring your great sense of humour and a caring, considerate manner.

The key responsibilities of a CCTV Field Technician include, but are not limited to:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- No experience required, but history working in manual job desirable.
- Full, Clean Driving Licence held for a minimum of two years
- Be confident working at height
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual task
- Basic computer skills
- DBS checked or willing to get DBS checked
- You will be working as part of a team, travelling the country servicing CCTV and Door Access Control equipment for new and existing customers
- The position may require staying away from time to time. You will be provided with accommodation and subsistence allowance
- You may be required to work overtime depending on the workload and project location with paid overtime and travel time
- Complete paperwork such as service sheets and job completion certificates
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Adhere to the Health and Safety policy following all Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- You will organise materials required for projects and work with your team to ensure that jobs are completed to the highest standards
